Meet Your New Spring Flings: Clothesline Wines

Spring, sprang, sprung, springtime has begun! With warmer days on the horizon, flowers aren’t the only thing blooming this season. We here at eSt Cru are coming out of our winter hibernation to blossom in the sunshine with a few bottles of Clothesline wine.

Now, you might be thinking, “Clothesline? In spring? Groundbreaking.” Okay, Miranda Priestly, hold your horses. Before you judge us for being a little basic for enjoying lighter wines in the milder months, we suggest blocking off a sunny afternoon to sip one of our Clothesline wines on the porch. Seriously, these white wines were made for basking.

And you know what they say about good things? They always come in threes, of course! Clothesline 2020 Roussanne from Lodi, 2020 Sauvignon Blanc from Lodi, and the 2020 White Wine Blend from Mendocino are refreshing, bright, and lively on the palate. Each tout unique tropical, fruit-forward notes and elegant aromatics that absolutely sing like the birds chirping and twittering in the trees.

Not to mention, Clothesline Roussanne was just awarded 92 points by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. This is in addition to winning double gold at this year’s San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. What this means for you, whether you’re a wine snob or a wine newb, is the Roussanne is 🌸🐝🌈 in a bottle, and we all but guarantee you’ll love it.

However, if you’re more of a red wine person, we still have something for you. Our 2019 Staring at the Sun Carignan from Alexander Valley is a lighter-bodied red that will complement any springtime activity just as well as the Clothesline varietals.

This spring, dew or dew not, there is no not trying Clothesline wine. That’s all.
